About us – oddsguaranteed

Prices and promotions are the subject of oddsguaranteed: what an odds guarantee means, how much margin a market holds and what a bonus demands in return. The editors accept no bets, sell no tips and promise no returns, as no bet is certain to win.

What a price can and cannot show

Odds express a probability plus a bookmaker’s margin, and a promotion can move them but cannot remove risk. Offers and prices change fast, so every figure is tied to a time and a place, and where a source falls silent the matter is described in words only.

Where the facts originate

Facts about operators are drawn from their terms, help pages and footers. Legal facts are drawn from statutes and from the publications of the Gambling Commission and other public bodies.

The licence test

Any bookmaker serving customers in Great Britain needs a Gambling Commission licence, and the public register of the Commission settles whether a brand has one. Licensed operators run on .com addresses, so the address is no clue. A Curaçao, Malta or Gibraltar licence is not equal to the Great Britain licence. A site without it is described as operating without one, plainly, with the consequences: no GAMSTOP, no access to the Commission’s complaints process and less protection for the customer. A place in a ranking is not a licence. Northern Ireland has its own law and sits outside the Gambling Act 2005.

Audience

The pages are for adults in Great Britain, because betting opens at 18. They do not replace legal or tax advice. Anyone finding that betting uses more time or money than planned can reach out to GamCare, GambleAware or GAMSTOP.
